Giving school consent for immunisation?

We were given forms to fill in but Im not sure if I should give consent or not? What does it really mean? His vaccinations are already up to date.

Did you not read the consent forms before you signed them? What did they say? Im busy filling in the forms currently. Posted here before I decide what to do. Say no to vaccinations given with in school, unless in UK boarding where you will have to agree really.

Hi App - I assume you are filling out forms for UAS? I said "no" and provided copy of the immunization card. And at the end they mention something about DOHMS sending a physician to the school for a check up before the child can go to school -- well we just did the medical prior to DS going to school (which is part of the paperwork anyways) and did not consent to the DOHMS check up. There wasn't an issue either way... HTH

I just didnt give consent for that....we had a detailed list of things that we could or would not give consent to the school nurses and the dr administering to our child. Immunization is MY remit, not school. Good point!
