Help!! I need to find a good pest control company to deal with bedbugs. My daughter came here from university/hols at the end of August. Just this week she has suddenly been bitten in bed 40 times! We can see little black specs on the sheets and from everything we've read, have concluded they are bed bugs, though haven't seen any bugs themselves. Aaaaagghh!! No idea how they can have got there as she knows never to put suitcases etc on her bed. Anyway, we need to get a good company in to fumigate her bed and room. Soon! Any recommendations, please?

Would you recommend the heat treatment? Were you happy with the results? Thanks.
Yes, certainly I would. Bugs were all gone afterwards. But ever since then, I keep an eye on my beds and check regularly as my husband travels a lot (and that's where those bed bugs came from as per the technician from the pest company) and hot steam clean them from time to time even if I don't see any sign of them. We were lucky as I spotted them while there were only few of them and so avoided infestation.

My daughter had the heat treatment done in her apartment in Toronto. It was effective. Sorry can't help with companies here, but the treatment does work, if done correctly!

Hi! I know this post is a year back but is thermocure the same as the heat treatment? I'm looking at chemical-free options, too as I have a little girl at home.

I used National Pest Control few years back. Since my DD was a little baby, I had to use baby-friendly (but pricey) option called Thermocure. Just google their name, you'll get their contact details.
