I DON'T need to explain myself to you but I do it so as to clear things: I asked OP to contact me about the hair extensions because I wanted to give her a hand. And since you brought up the subject of diamonds, you must have dug long through the threads to find this, I also said I can help and to contact me because this is my business: I design bespoke jewellery! And if I say this is my business I am faulted for promoting my business here. If I offer to be contacted in order to offer the same service like Cara for example (a place you all know and promote freely) I am again faulted. I chose once to withdraw from this forum because some unsavory comments, I cam back and now I definitely will just say good bye to this place! Play nice ladies, and hope the newcomer will not be scared off by certain users here! Sorry to disappoint your ego but I have not dug out your old threads at all, its a little thing called memory! You have done it so many times its hard not to remember! I have better things to do than read your posts, but clearly you have been "digging long and hard" yourself! Talk about 'people in glass houses!!!'! However, in response to your remark over my name, when I changed my user name I announced it on here and made it very clear to all who I was when I started using the new name and of the reasons for the transition, so your attempted insinuations of some kind of deceit regarding that is completely unwarranted and irrelevant! Of course my style is the same because I am not hiding anything, while you on the other hand now admit to have surreptitiously promoted your own business on here. The deceit is yours, your denial of "no hidden agenda" in your offers of "help" completely untrue. You have clandestinely used this forum as a tool to sell your services, and you talk about "fair play" ! You compare your business to Cara, are you a legally registered retail outlet? Even if you are you still are breaking the rules of this forum by touting for customers on here. There is a difference between an impartial recommendation and self advertising. As for the past so called "unsavory comments" there was nothing said but a description of an incident that caused someone a great deal of loss and inconvenience, but its good to know you find your own actions unpleasant, perhaps you would like to explain the exact circumstances of how you came in for severe criticism on here before, the comments you object to that many members posted then were a result of your behaviour towards another member of this forum. I am not going to embarrass you with the details unless you would like to rehash the whole thing again. And yes you are right, you should be faulted for promoting your own business. That's a little thing called advertising!

As Cowboy says the shop upstairs in Beach Centre has real hairpieces. and as saralou mentioned there are many salons too that sell them. Take care with posters who ask to contact you by email to tell you where to find something when they could easily just openly post the name of the shop where they bought the item. It does not make sense for you to have to contact a third person personally to know the name of a store. I do not get the need for the secrecy, there's nothing to stop anyone recommending retail stores by name directly on here and others could find the info useful too. OMG...I feel that you're referring to me in this post! The reason I asked her to contact me is because I have bought my extensions not from a shop but from a lady that brings them. I don't apologize for NOT posting the lady's number or name here, I did that for obvious reasons. I am a member of this forum for 6 years, not posting too much unless I can give a useful info or advice or asking for same. So, she's safe contacting me, no hidden agenda and no monsters lurking in the shadows....:) :) Wherever did I suggest you should post a lady's private number?????? Did you actually read what I said! Quite the opposite! The whole point of my post was a warning about NOT posting contact details on here. Obviously my comment was an opportune warning to the OP but since you elect to take it personally, which was not my aim, as a matter of fact it is something you tend to do all too often often when someone asks a question about finding an item, so while we are on the subject of your posting habits why do you so frequently make a suggestion for an OP to contact yourself directly "because you can help personally" rather than give the name of a shop, be it diamonds or hair extensions etc, etc.? If all the items you can "help with" are not found in stores as you now say but via your personal contacts why have you not been clear about that? Easy enough to say without giving out the private contact details. Presumably these contacts of yours who sell all the things you refer to have business contact .addresses in Dubai unless they are trading illegally. As for your length of time anyone has been on here, how does that make anyone know anything about anyone else online? Many of us have been members for way longer than you but don't frequently post our emails up here asking for personal contacts over things that can be readily found in the shops. There is good reason why the rules say don't put contacts up on the forum and while I think it sometimes appropriate in the case of an emergency or personal difficulty to reach out with help, hair extensions dont fall into that category imo.

Hello everyoneee i just recently moved to dubai and i don't really know any hair stores here and i was wondering if their are any  hair extensions which can be clip on and off i mean back when i was in the uk i know alot of stores there that have that but i can't seem to find one here if any of you know a store that has that plz do help me Apparently by the edge at Mercato sells them. I bought my new ones in the UK as they are so expensive here compared to home and it was easier for me to match the colour. There is also a lady on FB that sells the halo which is so easy to put in plus you can wash it and style it divine distribution stock the Halo as do these stores Be Bar - Jumeirah Beach Road * Beauty by Edge - Mercato Mall * SOS Salon - Al Wasl Road * Reflections - Al Wasl Road * Essentials - Al Wasl Road * Locks by Lou Lou - JLT * Hairworks - Beach Road * VOG - Sunset Mall Thank u Sarah actually i just went to the edge yesterday at Mercato mall and they said that they have to double tape the hair extensions and i don't really want that i want to take it off anytime i want like clipped on and off anytime its sooo hard finding these stuff here in the uk i would just find that in any hair salon They aren't as popular here yet as home I bought my original set from Salon Ink on beach road ( Back in 2009) they were very expensive though Buy them online from the UK, open an Aramex shop and shop account and ship them from UK to your work Shipping wont be expensive as they aren't too heavy. It would work out cheaper than here
