Has anyone ACTUALLY paid their estimated bill from Palm Utilities for AC?
Part (most) of my bill is estimate and some of it (very little - maybe a few months) is actual!
I will pay the actual from mid last year but prior to that is estimated and the estimate amount is double the 'actual' amount it comes to each month.
I am contesting it with Palm Utilities right now! But I don't know where I stand with the landlord if I don't pay the estimate.
Palm utilties tell me this:
'Please be advised that we used to bill you (and all other customers in your Apartment) for your consumption charges on an estimated basis because the meters were not installed previously in accordance to PDC’s specifications. The developer installed them inside the apartment rather than in the corridors.
However, this issue was already been sorted and so we started billing our customer based on actual meter readings since 17-August 2010'.
the bit that really gets me is...... 'The developer installed them inside the apartment rather than in the corridors'. :\:
SO! Not my fault!! :(
