we stopped over last night (fria) on the way back from Oman visa run,maybe we choose the wrong restaurant .We opted pool side for the Gazebo .Looked elegant and with great view from outside however once inside was different story !
- it looks like a 1980's movie set with really bad decor ! Has those brass cycles filled with autumn leaf type stuff all over the place and plants that where scraggly .The staff was friendly the main course -steak n pasta where OK .
The dessert was yuk semi frozen cake and the cream had split so we sent it back and the waiter informed us it most probably hadnt been defrosted properly :)
Washrooms where not great either rather grubby n unclean.
Are the other restaurants better ? Am certainly not encouraged to make a special trip down to the Hotel again,big disappointment.
Did we just go on a bad day or is this how it is ?
