I am registered under my UK Aramex address and somehow they picked up I was buying books from "a location other than that specified in your Amazon account" Now they want all sorts of personal details to prove I am in the UK! What should I do? Desperate to carry on reading!

Thanks SD and RR. I did send them a copy of my UK passport and I was immediately unblocked. Now, today, they have informed me that if I cannot prove I am a resident they will block me. I am not a resident though, only a citizen! RR is my only recourse a Vee.P.N? Please can someone advise on which one they recommend because I have never used one and have no clue on how where what etc. Oh, RR I don't even have a UK c/card so maybe that's where they got suspicious.

Aryanwynn they did the same to me last week even though I gave them my parents address, they even called there!! are you using a UK credit card? we were using an international one thats why we got picked up, and account was stopped, the minute I changed to a Uk bank card the account was bank on line again, ;)

I had to fax them a copy of my UK passport before they unblocked me (don't know what that proves except that I'm a British poassport holder). If you have a VPN, set it to the UK and you can download content to your computer then transfer it to your Kindle.

Thanks KKS I did try changing to UAE and back to UK even US with no luck. Some people don't seem to have this problem - any other ideas?

temporarily change your location back to UK, I often have to change my location as a book I want is not available for release in the ME.
