A friend of mine who regularly goes to the Dubai Herbal & Treatment Centre in the Zabeel area mentioned that they had a female physiotherapist who recently joined. Looks and sound excellent, and I might go and try her myself very soon.

In Healthcare City there is also Therese at The Physio Centre (04-4370570).Im with Oman and i had to pay up front, but they paid me back, and it was worth it. Im back running and at the gym with no back pain. ;) edited by dagring on 25/04/2011

If you are willing to travel all the way to American hospital, I would recommend Beverly(a Brit lady) in Sportsfit (Healthcare city) Sorry I don't have their numbers however I had the same sciatica like pain and she is fantabulous. Before Dubai Mall Med centre got taken over by EHL, she used to be available there as well, and thats where I went to see her. She is, according to most orthos in Dubai, the best in town.

I had a philippino physio at Medcare that was very good. I can't remember her name, but I think she's the only philippino physio that they have. Or at least that was the case when I went, as they always knew who I was talking about when I'd call.

My Medcare surgeon referred me to a physio at Dubai Family Physio -- Chris Page -- whom I would recommend highly. You will need a referral from a GP/Ortho, but I would imagine if I was recommended this particular physio by a Medcare orthopaedic surgeon, then they would be 'covered'. Ask when you phone. What I will say is that Chris is, in a word, fantastic. Good luck. :)

Hi all, I have recently been diagnosed with sciatica and a curved spine.... My doctor has recommended I undergo 6 sessions of physio to try and sort my back out. Unfortunately the physio she has referred me to is not covered by my health insurance (Oman Insurance). Can anyone recommend a good physio at any of these hospitals? Neuro Spinal Hospital American Hospital Medcare Hospital Thank you!
