The other night, we were worried as dorter was suffering from abdominal pain (again, but one day it *will* be appendicitis and that'll be the day we've not bothered to seek medical advice) so we went off to Jebel Ali Hospital, which has an emergency dept, I think. By the time we got there, the panadol I'd given her had taken effect and she was asleep, so we went home, so I'm afraid I can't comment on their efficaciousness (though the pharmacy was open and we got more paracetomol as we'd run out), but I just thought I'd mention it for those to the west of the city.. Actually, is it west or south? Anyway, towards Abu Dhabi..

Rashid Hospital or Al Wasl in an Emergency ( severe )
City Hospital ( in general ). We've had 2 situations where admission has been necessary and both times the staff were faultless.

I would probably drive myself as who knows how long it may take an ambulance to come! I have used Welcare in Garhoud and they have been excellent, both times for stitches for my son. American Hospital also was good when my friends son broke his arm.
