Hi All,

We will be moving to Dubai end of the summer, and in need of some dear advice.

I have narrowed down to two schools; JAPS (new campus) and DESS. I would love to know what areas near both schools have a family community housing? Our budget is not big, more in the region of 180000AED.

My husband will be working near Dubai airport. So not sure how far he will be. But he is willing to travel further than the kids. I would ideally like 30min max for school drop/pick ups.

Thanks a lot. :)

Thank you for the replies, much appreciated. How about housing near the new JAPS? I've heard it's a nightmare to get out of the ranches. Is that true? I think that is either Mudon/Akoya and Sustainable city I cannot help with the traffic out of AR in the morning however I believe a poster on here called Daza lives at the Ranches and may know You also have JVC and JVT which is close to the Ranches and aren't to difficult to get out of For apartment and villa prices comparison try here www.propertyfinder.ae and www.justrentals.com

If you want apartment living Sports City and Motor City are popular. The latter is the top area to live in close to shops/cafes etc, the prices aren't too bad either

Hi, Dess is in an area called Oud Metha. There are some residential buildings in this area, the school would be 5 mins away and the airport is 10 mins away. You also have Dubai healthcare city closeby as another option. You can check out the distance between the places on Google maps to help you get a better picture. Hope this helps :)
