When you get your photos done, ask for a CD or USB copy, as I sent the jpeg. to many companies and they just use that as well.

Meant to say, a lot of people are now taking scanned copies - worth asking them if you can send them a scanned passport picture that they can print and use as needed?

They always ask for lots as they basically have them attached to every form - medical form, visa form, all application forms, driving license etc. 24 seems a lot as I would have expected about half that but you don't know what their internal policies are including their paperwork etc (staff passes, parking passes etc). You can easily get them done here and they can do lots in one go from one photo rather than having to sit in a photo booth in the uk several times. There's a place in the Dubai mall where we got ours done on the top floor in the electronics section near Samsung (I can't remember the name of it but it's a photo shop). There are tons here and they'll print them all out in one and put them in a little wallet. Hope that helps.

Hi I've recently accepted a job in Dubai and they've asked me to send 24 passport photos which strikes me as over the top. Why on earth do they need so many!!?!! Is this the norm? When I've asked they've said it's to process the papers for my application and get my visa. Did anyone else have to do this? I'm currently in the UK. We all have at some point They always ask for loads although the max is normally 12 they are useful to have as you will need them for other things such as driving license and alcohol license
