People that are happier than me. But there's not many ;) I am so blessed and count my blessings everyday. That made me smile. I wish there was a like button here!

im jealous of people with tanned skin... i wish i could tan... :( can u say: white and freckley :\: Not to mention people who have never heard or seen of a strech mark before... yeah i got some old ones on the inside of my thighs from when i was heavier... one of my friends asked me one time while at the pool "OMG what happened?" i explained they were strechmarks... she replied "i thought some animal attacked you..." no one is perfect but i personally think thats the worst way to discribe how they look... :( SA, I love white and freckles! My hubby is one of them and I am hoping our still unborn son will turn out like him too :)

I am neither jealous or envious of anyone and if I would see it coming I would stop it as it does me no good at all. I would like to be better in somethings and improve my life but I have a good life and thankful for it. Yes, some people are better with money, others are better at making friends, driving a car, playing sports, others are kind and caring and genuine . I am not so good at some things, better at others , still learning and hopefully will keep learning no one is perfect or has the perfect life. True friends of which they will be few in ones life , will accept one for their strengths and weaknesses.

Hey, Nobbles, I think I've seen that very same worker on a bike :) It made me smile and I like your take on him :) I'm trying hard to describe what I feel sometimes, I certainly wouldn't call it envy or jealousy of others, it is a wish that I was doing things better myself, it is a dissatisfaction with me, personally, not wanting to have someone else's life or job or things.. Not explaining myself properly. I know this will sound idealistic to some but what you are waiting for girl? Make the changes you need to, little by little! I'm working on it :) Went to my first ever exercise class here the other day. It was a nightmare and my knee still really hurts (it was hurting before I went, but got worse), but I'll go again next week. I've lost a kilo since I started really watching my weight on Sunday. My main problem is sticking to it for a year, which is what it's going to have to be if I am to fit into my wedding dress on our 21st wedding anniversary in May 2012 :) Am trying to meet people and make friends here and give up EW :) Good for you, that’s all it takes. one baby step @ a time. And you're talking to the queen of giving up (well used to be) but I decided enough was enough. And don't beat yourself up with the small slip-ups; you're only human after all. But once you get a routine going small results will keep you going.

I'm jealous of people who are easy going and don't worry about anything...I wish I were like that and I really do try to not over-analyse things as I know that people should not sweat the small stuff :)

I'm jealous of people that can pay for their shopping & resist the temptation of putting a chocolate bar through the beeper. In all honesty probably only 2 times out of ten do i actually eat it myself but i still can't resist grabbing one.

I am jealous of those who absolutely adore going to work each day and have their dream job or better yet those who dont have to work at all and get to wake up when they want and have no stress and pressure at all other than those in the home! edited by Kylie2810 on 22/03/2011

I am jealous of everything. If a woman posts a picture of her homemade cupcake on Facebook, I will be jealous because I know nothing in the kitchen. I am jealous of people who have nicer cars, skinny women, rich people, etc...

You can be skinnier than me, richer than me, prettier than me and I will never be jealous. I have a wonderful husband and the two kinest children. Nothing will ever compare to that. I was driving home from the school run today and saw a Pakistani worker on an old bike wearing a bright pink childs bicycle helmet - he looked exhaused but I just sensed that he was happy to be alive and happy to have a helmet that kept him safe. How vain are we to be jealous others or their possessions when we should be thankful that we have what we have.

I think envy is a good thing, if it is mild and controlled. It is what gives us drive (to climb walls?) Jealousy is evil.

Jealousy and envy are two really nasty traits IMHO. People should be grateful for what they have and should work hard to achieve what they want, not stand about complaining about what others have that they don't. There are always others whoa re far worse off in world.

Goodness ladies, it's time to take a step back and count your blessings. Really? Things you are jealous of? Look around you because it's sounds like a reality check is desperately needed. The grass will ALWAYS seem greener ladies! But it really all comes down to same thing at the end of the day. The real YOU! No matter what you have, what you wear, who you're dating/married too or what you do for a living (whether it's a highly paid executive job or you do the most stressfully yet amazing job on this planet - bringing up kids) you are who YOU are. If you just beleive that you do your very best everyday and are proud of it then that is what shows on you. On your smile, on your attitude, on the way you hold your self! I agree that a little envy can be productive sometimes but NEVER wish you had someone elses life! You NEVER know how they truly are behind closed doors! :) and who knows, they may just be secretly thinking they could be you!
