As you go down this post you will see that i did appologise to the ladies for not double checking, im not on this website 24/7 posting comments, adds or whatever you doing but i appreciate your opinion may God bless you.
Hope you have a nice day.
Actually I want to continue .....
If you go way down this post you will see I said first that I didn t think you could transfer the thicket
At that point you should have made just one phonecall and checked and that would have been the ned of it
Obviously there are many EK people on this site who know what you can and cannot do
You are a new poster and therefore people have the right to protect others if we feel that something is not right, it is VERY unusual for posters to ask for money for anything on this forum !
And lastly better to know now than have the police call because you sold a ticket under false prentences
Have a nice day Jokay aalthough I will be surprised if we hear from you again :\:
maybe you would have accepted the money before changing the ticket over.
there are too many gullible women on this site.
Are you done now or do you want to continue.
Anyway, the fact that this poster is new and selling a ticket in this manner seems very dodgy or desperation.
WOW i did not expect that. First of all that you for your kind replies. I should of done a little bit more research on this matter. I called Emirates this morning and sorry but i can not change the name but i can get a refund. I appologise for the ladies that where interested. I am from south africa and i know how expensive tickets can be so i was just being friendly and thought someone could use my ticket. As for being 'dodgy' i can understand but not everyone is as dodge as you may read, some people are genuin and lastly being 'desperate' for all you know i could be a struggling mom who cant feed her family or maybe i could of sacrificed my ticket to give money to a family in need, you dont know me or what my intentions are so i dont appreciate the judging.
Thank you to the ladies for opening my eyes a little bit more, ill make sure i get all my facts straight before i try giving out a friendly hand.
Some people are not aware of the dangerous side of these things/ Zannie was just highlighting that fact.
Your eyes appear to be open enough.

Emirates tickets are not transferable.
So therefore you need to either put ticket in for the refund (minimal) or cut your losses.
This ticket cannot be sold and used by someone else.

Why can't you take the ticket to Emirates Airlines Head Office by the airport or in the Dnata building on SZR? They should be able to give you a certain amount of credit back on this flight (similar thing happened to us and we were able to).
I'm 99.9% sure you cannot change the name on an existing airline ticket. The only airline you can do this with is Ryanair, and they charge a massive surcharge (£250 per name change) to do this. So if there is a very slim chance Emirates will do this, it will be at a big cost.

I dont think you can change the Name on the ticket, atleast that is what I have seen clearly stated in the terms and conditions of any Airline I have booked with. I would be careful!
wow, at that price i would be interessted...are you sure its transferrable?
I would be extremely cautious if I were you. TBH I would never purchase an airline ticket from a stranger, but thats just me. I used to work in airlines and its just not as simple as this.
Good evening ladies. I am selling a Emirates airline ticket from Dubai to South Africa, Johannesburg. I hav had this ticket for a year now and i cannot extend it any longer, i would use it but i can not as i only need to use it in May and the ticket is only valid untill 20 April 2011. If there is anyone that is interested ill change the ticket into your name or help with changes that you require. I am asking Dhrs 1000. Thank you. my email is [email protected]
