So, DH and i want to move from Springs but want to stay close so we took a drive up to JP and had a look around and liked what we saw. However, when we tried to find a villa to rent, we searched many a website and couldn't find any. Any takers on why?

Not sure what is the name of the villas you have in mind, but they are not Jumeirah park. Jumeirah park is right behind the JLT towers, adjacent to Jumeirah islands. http://www.jumeirahpark.com/en/community/location.html

So just to make sure am talking about the same villas, the ones that back onto Meadows 9 and will join the springs/lakes community from the roundabout at springs 14 opp town centre. Used to be called jum village north now park? Was up there last weekend and saw lots of residents doing the gardens, coming in and out etc.

I am very sure that none of the Jumeirah park villas have been handed over yet. The first phase will be handed over at the end of 2011, the rest of the villas in 2012.

Thanks, am not sure if they have been handed over or if DEWA connected. We were driving through and noticed a lot of villa's were occupied so assumed that they had but also noticed the majority were vacant. Seems such a waste.
