Saw this in today's Friday magazine and thought I would pass it on. Great fare reductions to Europe and North America, if you don't mind a stopover in Amsterdam. Of course there are restrictions: book/purchase by May 3rd, travel between 27th April and 31 August. I don't know if the travel dates apply to departure and return, or just departure. Check out KLM dot ae for more info.

Maybe it is time to go EK..... strap the kids down! EK will only take you to the USA through London.why don't you fly direct with them? ETA I have a feeling we went through this topic last summer..... my brain is both blonde and senior. no hope edited by vero possumus on 23/04/2011 Well, there are several reasons. It is a really long flight and then we'd still have to connect at JFK. Immigration lines at JFK are much longer than the ones at the Boston airport. I may be wrong but I think I'd have to collect my suitcases at JFK, go through customs, and then put them on the belt again for the domestic flight to Boston. Also, we don't get to go to Europe much nowadays so our short stopovers in European cities are really nice. And the last reason is just between you and I!!aha

Yes, their prices are hardly offers. Besides BA, however, they are the cheapest European carrier to the USA this summer.

What about if Amsterdam is the final destination? Do they have deals too then? Schiphol is one of the worst airports when it comes to taxes, so that could add quite a bit to the cost of your ticket. Will have a look though as I'm starting to feel a bit homesick...Yes, you are right, flights into Amsterdam are more expensive than Boston! And the stopover basically means a stopover of 6 hours or whatever. If you try to do an overnight stopover, the price becomes outrageously expensive!

These promotions never seem to pan out. We have checked the fares to Boston meeting all the sale criteria and it works out to the same it has always been!

I had a look the fare to Paris is advertised 1410 dhs but in June/July it comes to 3590 minimum including taxes. I wish airlines were banned from this type of ads. They should have to include taxes in the price advertised

Read the fine print - the fares posted don't include taxes etc. and are subject to "season". Is it worth taking a look? Yes! But it's not what it seems at first glance.
