Strange request, i have vistors at the moment they want to bake for my kids, anyone know where i can buy lard? I am So not a baker, Thank you

What about beef drippping anyone come across that for some yummy roasties. You make that, you can buy goose fat for your roast pots.

You can buy vegetable shortening in most supermarkets rather than using lard but it is available at Spinneys.

What are they trying to do? Give your kids a coronary? Lard from pork section usually in freezer of supermarkets, double check dates on it. Waitrose/spinneys/choithroms. Ask them to use butter.

Presumably in the p*rk section of a supermarket? I've never really looked for it, I must say.. Or else buy b*con and render the fat?
