Same thoughts as Claire, went to a party there last week. Kids had a great time, but have to say the ease in which the kids can walk down the corridor and straight onto the street was fairly stressful. They do have somebody on the door, but if she is dealing with somebody coming in or on the phone I suspect it would be very easy to just walk out unnoticed. We too had lots of kids coming off requiring ice pack and lots of friction burns from the slides I guess, so long sleeves and trousers... Just out of interest - did they have proper ice packs if it was last week or was it ice cubes in a carrier bag still?

We went a few weeks ago and the kids had loads of fun. I did not like the fact that you could walk right in off the street and straight into the play area. At one point we were sitting havIng coffee and I noticed one of the kids in our group heading towards the door. For safety there really should be a lockable gate to stop the kids being able to reach the door to the road! One of our group tripped and came running over with blood pouring from his mouth I was totally underwhelmed at the lack of any help from anyone who worked there. We had to ask for some ice and we were left to deal with it. Surely there should be a medically trained person there as there are bound to be accidents. I asked if they had any gel packs and were told they were waiting for some. I told them that they really needed to go out to the local pharmacy that day and get some gel packs - I wonder if they have any yet? ........ The little boy had bitten into his lip when he tripped and was fine but it bled for a while and it made me a little nervous to see how totally unprepared they were for when something went wrong. Hopefully teething problems which have been sorted now.

Its a fun play area. Its 40dhs per hour. They charge you when you are leaving, not before. (they are precise with their hourly billing). Call ahead to make sure they are not having a school come in. Went last week and was greeted by 120 kids. They seem to host schools once or twice a week. Be sure to pay your parking meter for at least 2 hourse. The ticket guy is right there to ticket your car the second your ticket expires. Yep got a ticket 2 min after mine had expired.

It's called Minimonsters near the Garden Centre. It's only been open 4 weeks. Big soft play area and a coffee shop for you to grab something to eat and drink. www.minimonsters.ae
