One month seems like an awfully long time especially since there is vision loss already and it's due to Glaucoma. Did you explain the situation and that you need to be seen urgently, you should get an appointment almost immediately. Here are some details of specialists if you need them: Dr Prashant Bhatia is an opthalmologist who specialises in Glaucoma. He was good. 04 3344223 Retinal specialist Dr Prasan Rao At the Welcare Hospital. 04 2827788 edited by Demerara on 11/04/2011

Try in the same time to ask for appointment on line through thei website. I have tried to make an appointment by phone and could not have it before 3 to 4 weeks, but in the same time I filled in the request online, and got an appointment within 3 days. Good luck

We just found out that our maid has almost lost the vision in one of her eyes. We took her to a doctor.(Dr. Bagheri) He said that she is losing the other eye as well due to her diabetes, unless we do laser after scanning her eyes(OCT). But we want to get a second opinion. Please et me know if you know someone who could help.
