quicksilver, could you recommend someone from helping hands? I plan to use thm in future.. Chiggywiggy, do you have a number for Best Maids? I tried googling, didnt get any company by that name. Any lady you would recommend, in case you have used them? Thanks! Btw does anyone know any Maid Agency that have a monthly contract going/.? TIA I just call helping hands once a week and they just send who ever but I use them because I don't need someone for 4 hours, I work and it only leave weekends and I don't want someone here for that length of time on a weekend so fir me it works. Good luck and hope that helps. edited by scarlett78 on 10/02/2011

Have used BusyBees for couple of times, 35/hour, minimum of 4 hours. Cleaning was ok, but then I don't have high expectations - I am fine as long as the house is clean in general and I don't have to spend 3-4 hours doing it ;)

I use maids.ae . They charge 35 with minimum of 4 hours. Have had the same girl each week and she is fine. First week she tried it on a bit and tried to finish 30 mins early. She just gathered her stuff together and said she was finished. I told her I had paid for 4 hours and gave her some ironing. After than she was fine. Always started ironing without being asked and then asked for extra jobs near the end of her time. I am always in and work away around about her tidying drawers, paperwork or sorting laundry etc. I always see to my own bedding and the place is always pretty tidy so she has an easyish time but I always make sure everything is done properly. It's easier to keep on top of things and check when you are around rather than leaving a list.I always get a receipt at end. I just cancel when I am on holiday. Happy with service from this company.

I used Helping Hands last week. They charged me Dhs30 p/h and sent a maid that did not follow any instructions that I typed up. Look for a more professional agency. Also the maid did not give me a receipt - very unprofessional.

I use helping hands, they are pretty efficient at ironing and cleaning - it works for me as I don't need a minimum of 4 hours like most of the agencies dictate to you! they are 25dhs per hour 04 331 1918

Hi, I am looking for a maid twice a week for 3 hours, and want to go through agency as don't fancy paying AED50.000 fine going the ''dubizzle way''. Anyone here using an agency? What's the hourly rate on monthly contract? Just need for ironing and general cleaning... no babysitting involved. Thanks
