Oh no!! That sounds like a total nightmare!! Did Daman ever cough up or was it a flat out No?! Nope, last I heard was they were let to foot for the whole bill. They were so upset :( Kelly - you are right, loads don't cover it, or have a huge waiting period.

what horror stories have you heard polly? The major one was - Daman deciding at the end of the day not to cover the maternity costs, even though it was stipulated in their plan and they had waited out the waiting period.

Hi all! So, long story short....I currently have AXA health Ins. Hubby just changed jobs and I can go onto the company health ins which is with Daman. We're looking to start a family soon and want to know which out of these two health ins companies gives the best maternity cover, so whether to stay with what I already have or to change. Have checked the websites and AXA gives a full break down where as Daman isnt as detailed and after emailing customer services, am still non the wiser! Does anyone have any experience / feedback on either for maternity cover? TIA! :)
