Thanks Mahat but my friend wants someone to go to her house. Basil, Sylvan Learning centre opened up a new branch in Mirdif. From friends who used them, I heard they are great. Apparently, they take a thorough assessment before the child starts and work their way up from basic skills up to advanced level. For a home tutor, it's difficult to know what area the child is lacking in until ages.... I think they also have a branch in KV. edited by tahm563 on 09/01/2011

Mahat, would you consider going to student's home(Bur Dubai)? And how much do you charge? A friend is desperately looking for her daughter, really want to help her out.

Also recommend Matthew Swift - he teaches from primary to A'level - used to teach in British schools but knows all the curriculums. We were on a waiting list to get him!
