Thanks Mahat but my friend wants someone to go to her house.
Basil, Sylvan Learning centre opened up a new branch in Mirdif. From friends who used them, I heard they are great. Apparently, they take a thorough assessment before the child starts and work their way up from basic skills up to advanced level. For a home tutor, it's difficult to know what area the child is lacking in until ages....
I think they also have a branch in KV.

Mahat, would you consider going to student's home(Bur Dubai)? And how much do you charge? A friend is desperately looking for her daughter, really want to help her out.
Taylor tubby.. that would be me ..:) but I dont tutor younger kids. Grade 9 and above. But if you dont find anyone then I'll see if I can help. Always love a kid who asks questions!
Imagine Education do tutoring, call Matt on 055 369 5642. Tutors all teach here in excellent schools. There ad is also under the education section on the expatwoman page. Hope you find one.
can somebody recommend a math tutor to teach at primary level. my son is in yr2. he is bright and asks lots of questions, therefore, patience and making math a fun activity would be great.
Also recommend Matthew Swift - he teaches from primary to A'level - used to teach in British schools but knows all the curriculums. We were on a waiting list to get him!
