Just don't use Flymovers! They are really bad...they actually sent me another company to do the job without my knowledge or agreement!! They damaged most of my furniture in the move and then disappeared without taking any responsibility and blaming it on the other company which they sent...

We have just used ProMove to move from one villa to another and I can highly recommend them. Very professional and I had not a thing to worry about. All the packing and unpacking was done for us, the cooker was wired in and everything ended up in the right room. http://promove.ae/

We have used ALM movers twice for moving villa. They were really professional and punctual. Also helped us to fix the curtains and washer. 050 9220956

We've always used eMovers - they're brilliant. And will take down and hang curtain rails, tv's replumb washing machines etc. For a 3 bed to a 3 bed, I'd expect between 3-4,000 dhs.

Just call some [url=http://www.sabamovers.com/packers-movers.php'>movers and packers dubai[/url'> based moving companies. Get quote from old and new moving companies. Some companies like mayflower.com offer DIY move in Canada. Research and make an informed decision. This might help you to calculate costs - www.mymovingreviews.com/intl-cost-estimator.php

It depends on your move - moving large items that might have needed special arrangements invite extra cost. It also depends on whether you are availing storage facility or not. You can find many big players offerings online - house removal services with transit insurance. Kindly do a quick search in Google. google.ae/?gws_rd=ssl#q=house+removal+services <em>edited by danniealbert on 16/02/2015</em>

There are many international moving companies in dubai. Do a search in Google and call some to know the rates. Many of them are giving free quotes.

I've used On The Move a couple of times. They're really good and the moving guys are all polite and speaks good english :) We moved recently from a 3 BR apartment to a villa and they charged us 2500 AED (however excl. the price for insurance). Also, they don't do any electrical work but have a company they can recommend if required :)

Some companies publish their rates such as these http://www.moversdubai.com/rates.php http://www.flymovers.com/index.html We have used Skymovers and Acorn in the past, they did the packing and unpacking and had no issues with them. Their rates were comparable. hth <em>edited by chezmoi on 22/01/2015</em>

Hi all - does anyone have any information on moving costs? we're looking at moving from our 3 bed villa into another nearby. I want to factor in the cost of having a removal company come in and pack, move and unpack us. Does anyone have any ideas of what costs we could expect?
