Hi Ladies,

i have two kids and have had 3 pregnancies (last one i had partial molar and lost the baby).. the Dr advised to wait 6 months before trying again but we started trying after 4.5 months. to my surprise it has been 3 months and i am still not yet pregnant (all the previous pregnancies i was blessed from the first time). i know every pregnancy is different and maybe the D&C had something to do with it, but i cant help but feel down.

so two days ago i went and got a blood test (even though i still had 7 days until my period).. this is how impatient i am!!
the test came out negative (less than 0.100). but i feel nauseous (started the day i did the blood test) and today is the 3rd day and still feeling it.
did i do the blood test too early (7 days before my period) or if there was a sign of pregnancy it would have definitely been picked up in the blood test?

thanks,
FM

has anyone been in this situation before? I have. I miscarried our third and no matter how hard we tried, we were not been able to conceive. We did not try a few months after the miscarriage. And when we did, I was always faced with disappointment. Like you, there were months when I thought I was pregnant because I felt nauseous, my breasts were really tender, etc...very similar symptoms to my previous pregnancies, but the tests always came out negative. I've gone for tests and I am ok. My husband hasn't so I'm not sure if it is him.

Hi FM Sorry to hear about your loss. I do know how long the wait feels to find out results, but I think you have tested too early. As for symptoms, it's not always the best indicator. I recommend waiting it out and get a blood test the day your period is due, for the most accurate results. thank you. the wait is going to kill me :(:(:( so I still have hope... one dr said no forget it its negative, the other said aaaah maybe too early depends on time of ovulation..
