Hello
Slightly off topic, but where exactly is the new part of the mall?
Thanks

You can take the escalators going up from the Home Center side. It's on the level above.
Yes it's above all the home stores like Crate & Barrel, near the metro link entrance :) it's lovely, lots of new shops and restaurants to explore!
Another place is Texas de Brazil... a Brazilian churrascaria (steakhouse)... it is all you can eat too.
I have been there twice now and can live on the salad bar alone (it has a few seafood items) which is 65 dirhams during lunch hours which is until 5pm. But the meat selection is good too if you go for the whole thing... it is 115 dirhams during lunch. I forgot the dinner prices but there are a few more items served at dinner time so it is more expensive.

I have now tried most of the breakfast menu items at Common Grounds and I'm struggling to decide which one I love the most! Possibly the smashed avocado on soy & linseed bread with ricotta and poached egg... YUM! The place isn't cheap but totally worth the splurge!
Eat Greek and Dean & Deluca are the only ones that haven't opened yet. Full list here: [url=http://whatson.ae/dubai/knowledge/32562/first-look-whats-inside-new-wing-mall-emirates'>link[/url'>/ and add Yo Sushi!
In the new section all the ones on this link are open apart from Eat Greek.

I've been to Common Ground a few times which is great, it's another branch of Tom and Serg, just with a different name. Din Tai Fung there is always a queue, I haven't been but friends who have said it's fantastic and cheap.
Not on the link above but also definitely open is 800 Degrees pizza, they will bring menus and you can order from the table rather than going to the counter if you prefer. Also open are More, Yo Sushi and Starbucks.
Quite a few have opened in the new cinema area. MORE is fine but the pizza place next to the cinema was a bit stressful as you have to queue up at the counter to order everything, then collect it at the end when it's cooked and take it to your table, which is a bit of a pain if you have children and shopping with you...
