I saw a dress that I liked in Festival City at the weekend but thought it was too expensive for what it looked like. Came home and checked online and the same dress is online is the equavilent to 450 dhs cheaper (from US or Canada). I have an aramex account so delivery address and shipping to here is fine but the website won't let me order unless I have a credit card billing address in the US or Canada. Is there a way around this?

you can create an account with myus.com or some similar website, where they have an option called "personal shopper". They use their own us credit cards, and charge you 10% as fees. they also do deliver to dubai, but their charges are a bit higher than aramex

With the Apple store, I entered my UAE billing address, but in the zip code field I entered the code for my friends in America who'll be accepting the package and then forwarding it on to me. So the address was a UAE one with a US state and zip code at the end! It authorised without any problems.

It won't accept my real credit card address or my Aramex address :( On their website help it says - "We do not accept cheques, cash, credit vouchers or credit cards outside the United States and Canada. Your billing address must exactly match your name, address, zip code and telephone number as they appear on your credit card statement. This information is used as a part of the validation process of your credit card." Its not on Amazon and I haven't had any luck speaking to anyone who can help me at this stage. I'm not that in love with the dress, that I have to have it but now I have started this I am just very curious how this type of ordering can be done.

For your billing address just enter your Aramex address. As long as they get their money most retailers are happy.
