Is there anyone who is paying this amount as us on the following?

We are paying AED786 per month for TV, internet and phone. The cost of OSN movies is another AED294. That would bring the total to AED1080 which is around £2,350 per year. This doesn’t sound right at all.

The top of the range ‘complete bundle’ from Sky TV (TV, internet and phone) in the UK is £850 per year.

My husband and I have been here almost seven months now.

Who is that package with Brie? Is it Du? That's pretty good. We pay that amount for slow internet with phone and a very very basic TV package! Is it a set package and do you recall the name?

Costs do seem expensive here but you can't compare it to the UK as we are in a completely different country!

Hi, We have the eLife package. Phone, tv and unlimited data package. Price comes around 360 AED every month. We just connect our laptop to our tv and watch youtube and new movies online. Thank you so much veneta6 It certainly saves a lot of money! After all, there are only two of us. Thank you also to sheikhandbake for your previous reply.

We are thinking of getting rid of our OSN. No one watches it anymore - when I have time to sit and watch it, there is never anything on! It's now just easier to down load movies and tv - and you are right that the amount you are paying is astronomical. You are absolutely right there. Apart from the Sports Channel and the British Open Golf that my husband watches, the only channels for me are food eg. Masterchef Australia and cookery programmes. I am however, not subscribed to BBC Lifestyle which has other food programmes.
