Hi Livinia, I've not seen one, but the best place to try would be Arabian Home (opposite Rashid Hospital on Oud Metha road, the same building as RSA insurance). They sell all kinds of medical equipment. The closest I've seen was in Premaman, it was like a bean bag with a harness but I don't know if the angle would be steep enough. My second daughter had massive silent reflux - so I can appreciate what you're going through. She spent the first few months sleeping, wedged forward, in her infant car seat. I was concerned that it may damage her back, sitting all the time, but it's not had any lasting effects. Once she was stable enough (she was on meds), at about 5 months, we moved her to the carrycot of her Bugaboo Chameleon. We'd bought the Bugaboo as we had to watch her 24/7 and needed a buggy which faced us. The carrycot has 2 rods, which go in at either end, and by taking out the one at her head, I was able to wedge the end un and she slept in it. She kept sliding down but as we were watching her all the time, were able to move her up again through the night. She sorted the problem out herself though, by hooking her legs over the cover! Again, it wasn't perfect, but it was the best we could do and it's had no lasting effects. She was finally able to move into a cot at around 12 months and we wedged up the head end on books. She is now a happy healthy 4 year old! A bouncy chair that you can control the angle - available here - was what got us through too! Please shout if I can be of any help.

Livina I didn't use a wedge - but special blocks you put under one end of basinette or cot. I bought them from Baby souk, I am no longer using mine - so you can have them if you want them....I am in the lakes

Livinia, I haven't seen one here at all, I am sorry. All I can offer is that you are welcome to use my Aramex account if you want to get one shipped here. Maybe they could pull the stuffing out and it wouldn't weigh that much for delivery. Also, I know it is unethical but desperate time call for desperate measures, but could you get one sewn up here by an upholsterer or tailor if you took in pictures of one? Best of luck to you and I hope you get some sleep soon.

http://www.pollywogbaby.com/item--resqwedge--RESQ.html It is a wedge that a baby with reflux sleeps on that keeps him upright and has a harness so he doesnt slide off. I am desperate...no sleep for days as my little one has reflux and he only sleeps on our chest...which does not allow me to sleep most of the hours of a day...im knackered and pray that this pillow will be the answer for us. If you know where to get this pls pls pls let me know... my cell is zero five zero, one six six three, two nine four. Thanks ladies. xxx
