Maybe you could join a medical agency if there is such a thing and work through them until you are back from your trips.

For all of you working ladies out there...I have a dilemma... I would like to work out here in Dubai (I'm a nurse) and can't start until about 1 March at the earliest because of the paperwork and attestation costs, plus the eval/interview and license process. Anyway, I am a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding 30 April and my brother's wedding 14 May back in the US so I will have to fly home. That means I will only work 2 months max before taking a trip. I'm wondering if employers are flexible in situations like this...and if the 90-day probationary period applies in all, most, or just some cases. TIA for any advice you can send my way.
