Recommendations for document attestation in the US?

After almost 7 years in Doha I now have to get my US marriage certificate attested. More than annoying...

Anyway, has anyone used an agency in the US to do this? It's a bit complicated since it has to be stamped first at the state level (in my case California) and then at the Federal level, before I can deal with getting the stamps from the US embassy in Qatar and then the Qatari Ministry of Interior.

I'm pretty happy to deal with the required stamps in Qatar on my own, but would love to find an agency in the US who can deal with the State and Federal stamps on that side. So, any recommendations?

I've posted this in the Doha forum too, but since I'm looking for info on the US side and there are more US expats in Dubai than in Doha, figured I'd ask here too.

Thanks!

Our Dubai based Company recommended this Company, http://www.asapdocument.com/ I recall being frustrated at the expense and then thought for mili-second I would save the money and do it myself. Then, I browsed at the process.... Eeek. We paid their fees and it it was done quickly and effortlessly for us. I was sooooo thankful I didn't attempt that myself.

apostillepros.com They are based in California, I used them for my marriage certificate attestation in January. They were fast and answered all my emails within 24hrs. I believe the man I dealt with was named Richard, his email is [email protected]

Ameservices.com They did my degree attestation and my marriage certificate attestation. It is a bit expensive but worth it because the woman works efficiently and quickly. She won't send you your stuff back until your check clears, though, and that can take time when you're dealing with two different banks.
