Hello!
I received a call from a well known recruitment agency/agent and who is also very senior within that agency. They have asked for my previous contract ? I've been asked before previously for references and even pay slips which I'm always happy to provide but has anyone been asked before for this ? It's new to me and I'm not sure I want to share it...seems like an odd request ? Please can anyone help or any advice ?

It isnt the norm no. References yes but your previous contract is confidential
