I want to recommend you Mr. Ali (055 771 7526). He is a great person, he deserves these recommendations. He is a very skilled person, you will really love his work.. He can do painter, wallpaper and carpentry jobs for you very nicely.

Unfortunately the no. for Jashim doesn't seem to work any more. Does anyone else have any recommendations-we are looking for someone to do some painting, drilling work and a few odd jobs such as securing the windows etc. Probably around a day's work. :rainbow::

Hi, We have just moved and had a fantastic guy for the day, Hanging pictures, shelving, helping us lift heavy furniture etc On his card he says plumbing, electrical,painting etc Super nice guy, speaks and understands English Huge smile all day ( 10 to 7 pm , we asked him to stop and have lunch with us) His name is Jashim 0529665877 We will definitely call him again ? Hi Dollybird, I'm going to give Jashim a call over the weekend as we're moving soon and will need some help.:) Just wanted to say thanks for the rec. :rainbow:

Hmmm...all my years in Dubai I am yet to come across a handyman who charges by the hour :-) I know of Al Waqt services and they have a plumber and an electrician who can do the work but it is all based on a quote depending of what requires to be done. Alternatively try Jim'll Fix It...I have used them for many years now, can't fault their work though they are a tad more expensive...
