Happy Thursday Everyone! :)

Can anyone help me please....
I know there has been lots of threads about hair loss but I'm looking to buy a shower head filter to combat this ever so annoying problem I have at the moment!

Can anyone recommend a make and where I can buy it from?

TIA :)

P.S why is it only my hair & not DH or Ds's? Grrrrrr

I have been using Puriwell Shower Filter By PuriPro brand, the results are awesome. I can see clear results after in my hairloss and overall hair & skin health is improved. I have bought it online from www.dubaifilter.com . They have many shower filters but the best one is puriwell shower filter.

I wish i read this post earlier-i bought a shower filter from carrefour last week. i still haven't installed it because its too freaking big!! (and my hubby is looking at it and is baffled). i found out about a hair loss place a while back from a friend who has lived here for years and they have shower filters from america (i'm biased, i know)!! the best part is taht they actually install it for you. now i cant even return the stupid filter from carrefour but this one from the hair loss center s only 300 with installation!!!

They sell this range in all the branches of Marina pharmacy's. It's called Swiss Blu. Have had this a few months and it's fab. Has really made a difference to my skin and hair and the citrus scent is like having a mini spa experience. Bought the So Safe shower filter a couple of years ago and in my opinion that one made no difference to my skin or hair.

I forgot to say that the stand in Ibn Battuta that I got mine from was doing an offer where if you spent 400 dirhams you would get 100 dirhams off - so I went with a friend and we both bought one - should have been 295 each but ended up only being 245 with the discount. whereabouts is the stand? thanks I can't remember exactly but I feel like it wasn't too far from Top Shop - definitely down that end of the mall anyway. Thanks I'll pop in on Sunday :)

I recently got the one which is called Blu - I think they sell in pharmacies and I got mine from a stand in Ibn Battuta which sells Blu products, one of the stands in the middle of the mall rather than a proper shop. So far am really impressed with it, it is not only a filter but also has vitamin pods inside which also make the water scented so it smells a bit lemon-y. I hadn't noticed a hair loss problem but my friend had and she has been using hers for a few months and has started to notice new hair growth, I just bought mine because I figured that if it was doing that for her hair then it would be good for mine too! My hair definitely feels softer since I have been using it and my showers smell lovely! :) Edited to add that it sounds like the same one that sarahloudxb has. edited by dibdab on 13/10/2011

I have one its in a blue box ( drat cannot remember the name) It comes with replacement filters and these green tubes with liquid inside to pop into the neck of the shower head. The head is quite large and when fixed to the shower pipe ( no drilling required) it resembles a rain shower. I got mine from the pharmacy at the Greens however they do sell them at Al Maya supermarkets. Best thing i ever bought as i have very fine hair and blond ( ahem slightly dyed)
