Hi all,

My kids were born in UAE and Qatar, and my ex husband is now living in KSA.

I have been back in our home country for a few years, but have been offered a good job in Dubai.

Before I get ball rolling and accept and get all my other documents - what documents do I need to get from my ex, if any, in order for me to sponsor the kids?

You need your divorce paper, the children's original birth certificates and passports, the father's valid passport copy, a document stating you are the legal custodian of the kids. Stay strong.

Hi Single mom here in Dubai since 2004. In Dubai i was hardly asked anything. Just the divorce papers stating you have custody. In abu dhabi it is different you need his authorisation on paper. The laws changed a lot one month ago do maybe it is even easier now. Email me if you have any other questions. [email protected]
