Oops, sorry about the blank post. I was going to say I second what Yasmine wrote. I've also been a member for many years and it's not all that interesting. Used to be much better up to about 2 year go when the community grew out of control. It's true you can sometimes find interesting things there, I've found apartments in Europe or the US for example, but here in Dubai I went to one event and quickly decided it wasn't my crowd....

I have been a member for years and trust me, it is quite boring...nothing at all like facebook..It is [u'>supposed[/u'> to be more business minded. The only "fun" thing about it is the forum, very funny threads appear every once in a while. Some guys use it to pick up women though.:\:

interesting... doubt i'd know any members lol [i'>Trusted and loyal ASW members who meet certain criteria have the privilege of inviting a limited number of their friends to the network. If you know someone with this privilege, you can ask them to invite you. If not, please be patient and continue to ask around in your own personal and professional circles[/i'>

The fact that you have to be invited is what makes it exclusive. The site has been around for years, long before Facebook. If whoever told you about the site is a member, then ask them if they are able to invite you. edited by nels on 06/01/2011 edited by nels on 06/01/2011

you have to be invited by someone who is already a member, you can't just sign up.
