There has been the most awful smell coming from DD's bedroom last few days :( There's a shared a/c to her brothers bedroom next door but its only in her room. I've scrubbed everything but cant get rid of it or pinpoint where exactly in the room its coming from. Anyone had same happen in Saheel villa or suggestions? Smells a bit like rotten eggs!!

We had sewage smell in our ac. Aparently ac needs to drain somewhere and draw air from somewhere. We have chilled water ac units. Drains were blocked in one room and gardener left a bag of rotting leaves by air vent affecting another room.

If you don't have a maintenance contract and want AC filters cleaned call Sam at Renovo. 050 105 0329 They are the most reliable and reasonable maintenance company I have dealt with.

It's the a/c we had the same problem - shared ac between 3 bedrooms but the smell was only coming from ours. For months we tried to convince the maintenance men that it was the ac and they kept saying it was the drains from our ensuite bathroom. Eventually they took the ac filters out and they were coated in a thick black dust - it looked like the vents hadnt been cleaned for a long time. Once they cleaned them - no smell!

Tried the bleach thx, Do you think it could be something in the a/c since its a shared a/c and theres no smell in other room? Dread to think what it could be, judging by the smell maybe an elephant!
