For London/UK check out the Marie Stopes website. They carry out vasectomies there and give loads of info online. Just be aware that they strongly advise against flying long-haul less than 7 days after the procedure.

Cheeky monkey probably wants you to go in and get your stuff sorted instead of him! Typical man.

0.5 to 1% are not successful. That gives you a window of 99.00-99.5% of it being successful. Good odds. Just need to make sure you have a good doctor to get the job done. Can't help you with a recommendation. Hubby goes in with a fully loaded shot gun, comes out shooting blanks with a prop gun.
