Hello ladies! I’m new to this forum and hoping for some advice. We are looking to relocate and are currently looking at the different areas in Dubai. I have heard great things about Motor City and it frequently comes up as one of the top areas to stay in Dubai. Anyone who lives there/know the area well who can give some advice please? What do you love about the area and what do you think it lacks (pro’s & con’s). Any and all advice would be much appreciated! Thank you

Hi There, I would highly recommend Motor City. It is a lovely place to live. Restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, health clinics and many more will all be on your door steps. It is also situated near Umm Suqeim, Hessa Street and the main highways. The prices are however a little high, alternatively, i would recommend Sport City which is only a couple of minutes away with nearby schools and shops. Ive lived in Sport City and really like the area. Hope this helps, if you need more info feel free to ask. :).

Motor City is a lovely place and with the new addition of the First Avenue Mall, it's really got a lot of options and things to do now... i don't live in MC but know the area well, and the gated communities are really lovely. The area is split into 3 places; uptown, green community and business park... The latter is incomplete but the first two are popular choices. Green community is rather expensive and filled with villas/townhouses, whereas uptown motor city is much more affordable with apartment options. There's lots of food options, supermarket, ACE hardware, Nando's and it's a lovely spot to hang out in cooler months
