is there a forum/website that teachers use before applying to or accepting a position at a school? Yes several that cover the international schools, moreover most teachers know someone who knows someone to gain feedback, the International Circuit is relatively small.

There definitely is a teacher shortage my neighbours son hasn’t had a teacher for science or Art since they did a runner at Christmas, now this wouldn’t be a problem if he was in junior school but hes a year 10 boy in the middle of his IGCSEs. My neighbour went epileptic the other day cos one of his teachers told him to P off when she went up the school they basically told her he was lying and if she wasn’t happy with the school she can bog off. Sounds to me like the heads arnt much cop either. Wow i've heard that some schools make parents ill but "epileptic" that's impressive! :LOL HAHA

Heard another Head had left from a school here at Crimbo and know of so many leaving, the trouble i would think with recruitment now is that the word is out on teacher's networks which schools to avoid.
