I don't know what "At the first place is" I think its..."In the first place"...anyway...you sound racist...are you saying the cultures that most of these maids are coming from are barely civilized? Where are you from? I am willing to bet if its from an Arab country or India, many many many people would say you are barely civilized...doesn't feel too good does it?? Stereotypes can be ugly at times huh?

You have to be the lone voice. These babies have no voice, and for all we know these maids act like loving caregivers with the parents around and have fooled them. You cannot assume the parents are bad parents or wouldnt want to know-they really could be victims of trusting someone that appears to care.
Its so sad, how can someone treat a baby like that?
Find out how to notify the parents. Who cares if you are a lone voice against a maid mafia. If you notify them, and the parents don't do anything about it or don't care at least you will feel good about trying to stop it. I am just sick about these maid stories.
As for the police I doubt they would be interested. I know someone who was the victim of a hit and run. Many witnesses identified the perpetrator but the police are yet to charge him.
Yes that's what I figured - some parents may not want to know. The maids themselves have quite a mafia type gang going around the fountains which in itself is intimidating for a lone voice to interfere with. I guess what I hoped is that perhaps India's mum or one of the other mums may chance upon this post. I do think that sometimes nanny cams are warranted.
terf - I would very politely ask for the 'madame's' number saying that I needed to call her for something....no need to share your intentions. As a mom of a three year old, I would definitely want to be told as to what my maid is doing behind my back and would appreciate if someone was thoughtful enough to do so.
oh god this is tricky.
Personally i would say something afterall if it was your child u would want to know.Could you not ring police or something but have a witness with you.I know some parents might think u are interfering but at least if its in the open and the doubt is there they might pay more attention to whats going on!!!!
Cos I know what I would do if I thought someone was harming my child if I wasnt there
God it brings a shiver to me
