On a recent shopping expedition I realized there are so many things I miss about my home country. I enjoy living here, I really do but with so many services available here why are so many things that I'd give an arm for unavailable here? In two years I have yet to find Aveda products. Has anyone seen any and I've just missed it?

Oh, and someone who knows how to do a pixie cut at a decent price!!!!

funny- I just received shampoo delivered by a friend of a friend from the states. It feels silly to ask for shampoo from abroad...but me and my hair are happy! p.s. ginabeana- would love to get in touch. I am also American with a Lebanese fella. thirdgoal at yahoo dot com

I haven't seen Aveda either :( I've had to let go of my hair products from back home and use what I can find here, it was not an easy transtition esp when you've been using something for years! But when I do travel back home, or if my family comes I STOCK UP!! My luggage is always overweight because of all the lotions and potions I bring back LOL I don't care it's worth every penny :) At least I'm not the only one. Make-up at a decent price is also on my list!!! Mascara here is EXPENSIVE. I always thought it was in the US until I went to find it here. Luckily, dh has flights to SFO twice a month and gets most of what I need. Aveda though I haven't sent him for.
