I had it a few years back and an Osteopath sorted me out. Have a friend currently seeing an Osteopath in Dubai for the same reason and he is pleased with the results so far and has only been 3 times. Really wow, does he recommend them? My chiropractor sorts it out, but when I am under stress I do something in my sleep and wake up with it out of sorts, so annoying! Who lives here without being stressed??!! I think I might need a guard so have a free appointment/consultation with a TMJ specialist for the first time on Tuesday so I will be pleased if that helps. Not really sure what else to do.

I suffered for many years but about 5 years ago had Bowen therapy. After 3 or 4 sessions within about 2 months I think I have never suffered since. Worth a try. I'm not sure if the lady I saw is still here in Dubai but there are Bowen therapists around. It was such a relief to not suffer it after trying various treatments including night guards etc. Thanks for the information, how is Bowen different from a Chiropractor? <em>edited by pollydxb on 18/09/2011</em>
