Hi ladies,
Does anyone know where I can get a household vacuum cleaner fixed(Dyson)
Think the motor has burnt out but maybe poss to fix?
Live in the Springs area so is there anywhere round here or do I have to go to Satwa/Deira?

Thanks.

I would not just take a Dyson anywhere to get it repaired. It is a very expensive vacuum and like I mentioned before it has a 10 year warranty which will cover a motor if that is the case.

dhs 650 for a new motor - get it fixed at jumbo the agent - look up dyson dubai and you will find the info. i just had mine done. that was for new motor and one of the filters. new vacuum cleaner ( same ) is well over dhs 2000 so I did it.

check your warranty. i had the 'vacuum man' in satwa look at one to tell me if it could or couldn't be fixed. because he opened it up (must have broken a seal or something) and wasn't a certified repair place, it invalidated the warranty. Dont know about Dyson, but make sure before you get a repair man...

If the motor has burnt out probably better and cheaper to buy a new one, parts are often more expensive than replacement.

Go to their website, they have a service center listed on there and also Dyson has a 10 year warranty.
