Have done some more reading on it. Apparently this has happened quite a few times but not much exposure was given to it by the media but this time for some reason it's gathering momentum. Interesting!

A similar thing happened near Albany, Western Australia a number of years ago. It turned out that it was lead or something in the ocean (some negligent company had pumped or dumped high levels of lead into the sea) hence the dead fish and dead birds....!

Hi Seraohina, just saw the video on the link you had posted. Interesting but they (the investigators) also seem quite baffled with this event

http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2011/01/02/dead-birds-fall-ark-sky/#>  Game and Fish Commission spokesman Keith Stephens says the birds fell in an area about a mile long and a half-mile wide (1 1/2 kilometers long and 800 meters wide). The Commission said Saturday that it began receiving reports about the dead birds about 11:30 p.m. the previous night.  The birds fell over a 1-mile (2-kilometer) area, and an aerial survey indicated that no other dead birds were found outside of that area. Laboratories in Arkansas, Georgia <http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2011/01/02/dead-birds-fall-ark-sky/#>  and Wisconsin will examine some carcasses starting Monday. Results could be back in a week.

Ha ha - ok Seraphina. Point noted. It's just very weird. Have a few friends in the US who are all puzzled with these events

I know it's really spooky. Saw one of the news videos on the Internet and the residents of the town said it reminded them of the Alfred Hitchcock movie "The Birds " only this time they were all dead and lying all over the roads. And then the 1,000 fish dead as well found in a river in the saw town.... Let me try to get the video URL from the net and post it.
