I had one done years ago in Turkey and it was pure bliss - although why the ladies that do this thing insist on telling you how dirty you are is beyond me...it makes you feel soooo good about yourself:\: However, my Husband said his experience was awful and he felt red raw afterwards.

LOL no its not painful! The skin doesn't actually peel off, its the "dead" skin cells that we don't realize we have flake away but its wonderfully cleansing. A moroccan bath is just like having a jolly good scrub in the shower, except someone else is doing it for you :) hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, the one and ONLY one i had WAS painful!

It's not painful - they basically put you in a steam room so your skin becomes loose and then they scrub you off with a loafer! Not painful quite relaxing actually!

Its' a bath that you pay a lot of money for that entails nudity, being scrubed to death with a mat made of chain link with soap that smells like tar and irritates your skin to somehow revive you.
