Hello everyone!

I'm looking for a few things and went around carrefour and spinnys this morning and I don't know if I was just not looking properly...but any help on where I could find the following things would be awesome.

Gelatine- not pork and not vege-gel; does something that fits the criteria even exist here?
Fresh yeast
Premade fruit purees/pulps to use in mousses and creams for desserts.
White and milk chocolate for baking/cooking-ideally, I want to be able to buy large-ish qunatitites; maybe slabs or bags of 500g/1kg/2kg.

I have a feeling there was one more thing I needed, but seems to have escaped me completely... Will be back asking for more help when/if I remember..

Thanks!

as far as I know, all animal-based gelatine sold here should be beef gelatine. There would be no pork gelatine sold here (halal issue). I have found both beef gelatine and vegetarian equivalent (forgotten name) in supermarkets here. I believe most will carry at least the beef gelatine, unless they are currently out of stock. Just checked mine-it is Davis gelatine and marked as being from Hala slaughtered beef-got it at Spinneys the last time

I found gelatine in Waitrose. Ask at the bakery counter if they will sell you fresh yeast-they are usually pretty accomodating in the Spinney's bakery

You can buy premade fruit purees in Marks & Spencer. Coulis and the like. was browsing there yesterday. Milk chocolate for baking you can buy in slabs in Choithrams, at least you can in the one in the Greens. they keep it on top of the deli counter, no idea why! Cant help with the rest, sorry!
