If you are wondering where to buy a mattress in Dubai you may want to try these three places: The ancient souk The traditional mattress shops which sell hand-weaved mattress IKEA We recently brought two mattresses and haven't found a false note in them in terms of quality. In fact, we found the mattress to be well-weaved and soft to the touch.

The Royal Rest mattress is one of the best options. The price is also reasonable. I am using this for a year.

We just got a whisper, whisper-sleep.ae they are an online business and their products are great! You should check them out as an alternative to Casper.
Thank you Anna! Will definitely check them out!

Thank you Raj. I am looking for an online mattress company like Casper, but I can not find them here in Dubai.. The one you recommend is a typical store that we visited and it was super over priced...

Hi and welcome to Dubai! We struggled to find a mattress initially as well but now sleep on a Magniflex mattress.. It was really good value for money and we absolutely love it! They have a store on...

any other recommendations. I went to intercoil and they weren't helpul at all. Not too keen on Ikea stuff. Also, what does a twin mattress go for? Thanks for your help.

We got ours at Intercoil. They have a showroom on Umm Suqiem Street opposite the Mall of Emirates. Very good quality for the rather reasonable prices they charge. It pays to visit a range of mattress sellers and test the beds. We found Ikea mattresses to be hard and they were pricier than Intercoil's. But other people love their Ikea mattress. I know someone who got her mattress from Carrefour and is very happy with it. Last but not least: make sure you measure the bed before you buy the mattress. Ikea sizes may not be the same as your bed size. edited by Tallybalt on 02/10/2011

Mattresses really do seem to be one of those "you get what you pay for" items. My children both have IKEA mattresses that were fairly inexpensive and are lasting well. Best mattresses for quality, I think are King Coil.
