I looked at the Samsung Galaxy yesterday and it's very nice. Apple is suing Samsung saying the Galaxy is a copy of the iphone and ipad. I've got a samsung now and it's worked well but the casing has chipped & that's put me off a bit. Yeah that's amusing seeing as Apple is one of Samsung's biggest customers - where do you think all the parts for their phones come from? lol Easy enough to get a protective cover for a phone, no phone is chip proof, plus how many thread have there been on here regarding iphones with cracked screens?

Well I'm a Blackberry addict, does what it says on the tin, easy to use and you can run various apps on it. To be honest iphone is having it's day, Android phones mare taking over - take a look at the Samsung Galaxy.

There is something special about Apple products:-) I'd prefer to buy a new phone in case there's any problems with an old one so I might end up spending the extra money for one. Thanks

I was never very interested in technology and was happy using pretty basic handsets until DH got me an iphone and I was converted. They are fabulous! If you don't need the very latest model or lots of memory then you could get a second hand version 3?

I need a new mobile phone and am overwhelmed at the choice available! I'd like an iphone but find them a bit too expensive. I've been reading about phones using the android os and they sound interesting. I mainly use my phone for texting and making notes so quite a basic one would do but I'd quite like one to run some nice aps. What would you advise? Thanks
