Hi all,

We live in Springs 14 and for the last couple of weeks or so there has been this cat (boy) on street 6 that is always there either fighting with other cats or meawing very loudly wanting food and attention.
We have been feeding him ever sincen he came up to my DH when arriving from the airport in the middle of the night and he gave him some food.

I think our neibours are now getting fed up of his loud meawing and are not best pleased about us feeding him...

Does anyone know if he belongs to someone or whether he is just a street cat? He doesnt have a collar...
Not sure what to do... but we dont have the heart not to feed him... we would take him in, but we already have 2 of our own.
Any advice greatly appreciated!

TIA

Hi Sunseeker Thanks, yip, if he has a clipped ear, he's mine, can you send me a pic if you have it.. He had an orange collar before we left, but lost it while we were away, it has been replaced now and he'll be chipped tomoro.. I'm sorry if he has been annoying anyone, but he is such a friendly cat and just loves attention... I do however have a black cat with a red collar that keeps coming into my house at all hours of the morning, fighting with my cats, i think he has been left behind.. I have 3 of my own, but my lil one has not been home for a few days now, she is a small tabby, she had a green collar one, but the other 2 both had NO collars on when i got back from vacation, so I am worried that she has also lost hers and now may be lost or taken.. You haven't seen her have you?? I can mail you a pic tonight...

Hi MishC, I think the cat you are talking about is the one that Dubai2003 has been seeing. She mentioned that he has one of his ears clipped and that he use to have a collar. The cat that has been coming to ours is a different one to Dubai2003's as he doesnt have an ear clipped and is not neuterd. No collar either. We thought he had gone as we hadn't seen him since Thursday, but he came out of nowhere again yesterday screaming for food and was there again this morning! Good luck!

Hi ladies I live in Springs 14 as well and have seen a white and ginger cat roaming around.. However I too have a white and light ginger cat who i have adopted, as he was left behind and abandoned, we were away over xmas and NY's and a friend was staying at mine. When I got back I noticed that he had lost his collar, which i have now replaced and have him booked in for his chip tomoro night. He has one if his ears clipped. Please mail me the pic so I can see if it is mine. thanks sweetpike at hotmail dot com

Hi Dubai2003 Thank you for your post. I also contacted one of the charities (from which I adopted our cat) and am hoping to hear back from them with any advice. TIA Sunseker123 edited by Sunseeker123 on 12/01/2011

Hi Sunseeker123 I also live in Spring 14 and think this maybe the same cat that comes to us to! He used to have a collar on but since we have came home from Christmas break he doesn't anymore. He has been coming to our garden for a few months now and I at first thought he had been abandoned but with the collar I wasn't sure. If you can leave your e-mail address I can send you a picture and see if this is the same cat? Poor thing he is so friendly but think he defiantly has been left behind I have a cat myself so cant take him in but would be willing to take him to vet to check Micro Chip.
