I bought a portable one from Amazon for my newborn. Couldnt buy electric ones because of voltage issues, but you could buy from Amazon UK. It really helps my little one fall asleep!

Hi there, thank you very much for the suggestion. I tried using it as an app but I think it's not loud enough. I know high setting AC works for me but I don't think it's hot enough yet to sleep with the AC on so I thought I would try the white noise machine. Do you have any experience with using it? Why not try plugging your phone into an external speaker or using a Bluetooth one? Then you can have it as loud as you want!

Me personally, no. I do have friends that leave phone on bedside table with app running and they love it. Shame it's not loud enough for you. Hope you find a machine that works for you!
