thanks VP if they no longer issue this one then anything similar to this & how much does it cost? No, they will only allow Emiratis to work from home, but I have read on EW about people getting freelance licenses, but I have no idea how this works. The DED do not issue these licenses, it may be freezone. <em>edited by vero possumus on 23/03/2011</em>

Sorry, the license I have is from DED but they no longer issue new ones. I am able to renew mine, but that is it unless you get one from the freezone. DED? a little description is required pls.

so ............... (very hypothetical deluge to follow) if you were able to plunge head first off the corporate ladder and land in idyllic circumstances that allow you to pursue a second career working from home, what would / do you do? What work is viable from home?
