Would you send your children to boarding school in the UK?

Dubai-based parents, I have a question for you. Would you send / have you sent your children to boarding school in the UK, specifically from Dubai? What are the pros and what are the cons? The way I see it so far, the average boarding school in the UK costs somewhere around 35000 Pounds / year. Is it worth spending all this money on sending your child abroad?
